A Simple Guide to Reading the Bible

I know it’s not always easy to read the Bible. I, too, learned how to understand it much later in life. For a long time, I only knew a few verses because my mother taught them to me by heart. But once I began to look closely, I realized that the Bible isn’t just a normal book. It is organized by book names, chapters, and verses. For example, if you read 'John chapter 3, verse 16,' first you find the book of John, then chapter 3, and then verse 16. I recommend that at the start, you take a moment to pray. Tell God that you open your heart to Him, that you seek His guidance, and ask Him to walk with you. As it says in Matthew 7, verse 7: 'Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.' Trust that God is with you in every step as you seek and ask.
