Candle Care – Make Your Candle Last Longer & Burn Safely

Our candles are hand-poured with love using premium wax, natural wicks, and high-quality fragrance oils. To ensure you enjoy them safely and for as long as possible, please follow these care and safety guidelines:

How to Take Care of Your Candle:

  • Let the candle burn long enough for the entire top layer to melt (approx. 2–3 hours). This prevents “tunneling.”
  • Always trim the wick to about 5 mm (¼ inch) before each use. This helps prevent smoke and makes the candle burn evenly.
  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Stop using the candle once only 1 cm (½ inch) of wax remains at the bottom to prevent glass overheating.
  • Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Safety Guidelines:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Place on a heat-resistant, level surface.
  • Keep away from drafts, curtains, flammable items, and furniture.
  • Do not move the candle while it is burning or when the wax is still hot.
  • Leave at least 10 cm (4 inches) between burning candles.
  • The container may get hot during use – handle with care!

Pro Tip: To extinguish, use a wick dipper or candle snuffer. If dipping the wick into the wax, straighten it back up for the next use. This reduces smoke and helps your candle last longer.
